A punctuation activity (suitable for use in plenary or as 5 minute time fillers) to encourage children to think about basic and advanced punctuation.
 
Can be used with any ks2 class (or HAs in ks1) who are learning how to use punctuation. instructions are at the end of the document.
Takes children through punctuation and gives examples of how to use speech marks, exclamation marks etc...

Powerpoint presentation showing when to use apostrophes.
 
Posters reminding children when to use apostrophes (and when not to!).
Put in the correct punctuation in these sentences. Put in speech marks, exclamation marks, full stops, commas, and capital letters where needed.
